I know I’m expected to write about important environmental
and political issues, but when the biggest solo pop star since Elvis plays a
gig (on Halloween!) just 54 miles away, it is hard to resist some cultural
commentary.
This is Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour – so named for her
birth year and most current release – and Raymond James stadium in Tampa on
Halloween was the last U.S. stop before taking her (two dozen?) conspicuously-labeled
semi trucks to Singapore.
